THE Blue Brazil are looking to score a boost in support with an increase in numbers signing up to a club membership scheme.

Last season, Cowdenbeath introduced their Club 1880 initiative, a re-branding of the previous Club 135 lounge membership.

It has proven to be an increasingly popular additional option for season ticket holders, providing them with an extra benefits package whilst also providing support for the club.

Cowden are hopeful of seeing membership levels continue to climb next season as club secretary, David Allan, explained: "For an additional payment of £160, adult and concession season ticket holders can become Club 1880 members.

"This provides free admission to all the club’s cup matches, in addition to the league matches covered by a season ticket, at Central Park in season 2024/25.

"It includes Scottish Cup, Fife Cup, Lowland League Cup and South Region Challenge Cup games, plus any play-off matches and friendlies.

"Members also receive a free £25 drinks voucher, to spend upstairs at the bar in the Andy Matthew Lounge during the season – which is open both before and after the game.

"At half-time, at each home match, members will also enjoy hot savouries and a hot drink in the exclusive Club 1880 Lounge, located on the ground floor of the main stand, and accessed via the player's tunnel.

"In addition, each member receives a complementary match programme and team sheet at home matches.

"Club 1880 members will also now be provided with one of the club's exclusive 12th man pin badges."

As well as purchasing via the club office, Club 1880 membership can also be obtained online via Fanbase.

The membership card and drinks voucher can then be picked up at the office or mailed out on request.
