NEW Cowdenbeath boss Dougie Hill has added to his coaching and playing staff by bringing in experienced centre-half Paul McLean.
The former Stirling Albion captain has signed for the Central Park club as player-coach.
McLean, 34, has already had a distinguished and lengthy SPFL career including 10 years with Brechin City and a further five seasons with Stirling Albion.
He will take up his new post at Cowdenbeath following the expiry of his contract at Forthbank.

The defender is looking forward to making an impact on and off the pitch.
"I’m delighted to be signing for the club and really enthusiastic to be working with Dougie and getting to know all the boys and staff," he said.
"First and foremost, I’ll be looking to contribute in a big way on the park to bring success to the club but also excited to take the first step on my coaching journey."

Dougie Hill was delighted with the club's latest signing.
"I’ve been working hard on getting the right person in for a couple of weeks," he said. "I need experience to help the quality young players we have. Paul is the right type to do that, he’s a captain, a leader and a player I trust.
"He will be invaluable on the pitch and as part of the coaching staff."
