Kelty Hearts supporters could be in with a chance of winning a large cuddly teddy bear just in time for Christmas.
Kelty Hearts Supporters Club is running a guess the teddy bear’s birthday fundraiser to raise funds for their club bus.
Morris Brand, head of the supporters club, said: “We supply a bus for all our away games and of course they are fairly expensive, it’s a task to raise for that, so that’s the primary aim of the raffle.”
The funds would help provide cheaper transport for supporters who use the bus to get to games. However, the supporters club do support local charities where they can.
The idea to do a guess the teddy bear’s birthday fundraiser came from the previous Kelty Hearts chairman Ian Thomson. Morris added: “He provided the teddy bear for us, and we get the loan of a Kelty Hearts Football shirt.”
The winner will receive the teddy bear and a home or away strip.
