Kelty Hearts 4, Kilmarnock Colts 0.
THEIR debut in the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Cup last night was a sweet one for Kelty Hearts.
Hearts used their experience well to leave the Killie Colts chasing shadows at times.
Kelty took the lead in 25 minutes when Murray Carstairs got on the end of a free-kick and glanced the ball home and nine minutes from the break Nathan Austin pounced from close in.
The Lowland League side were well worth their two goal interval lead at the interval and added another four minutes after the break when Ross Mutch was on target.
Killie seldom threatened and a fourth goal from a Scott Linton free-kick in 81 minutes tied up a second round clash with League 2 Annan Athletic.
