COWDENBEATH suffered a blow with the news that midfielder Mark Ramsay is retiring from the senior game at 27.
The former Dundonald Bluebell player has started up his own business and with he and his wife celebrating a new arrival earlier this year, he feels that he will not have time to devote to senior football.
The loss of Ramsay, who made well over 100 appearances for Cowden, will leave a gap for manager Colin Cameron to fill for what will be an exacting season in the Championship.
