FIFE Council wants to look into changing names of streets linked to the slave trade.
I have lived in one of these streets for 14 years and never given a thought to where the name came from.
Leave well alone is what I say. Slavery is history we can’t change it.
Is this just the Council following the current “fashionable” trend like the eliminating plastic pre-pandemic.
I’m sure people would rather see the gulleys cleaned. It’s appalling the number of drains completely full of dirt and debris.
It’s no wonder we get flooding. Please Fife Council look at your priorities
