I HAVE been very interested in the stories the Times has carried on the Robert Smith Court Community Group.
It is something that the village has needed for a lot of years and is all about people helping themselves.
Robert Smith Court was a very new estate 20 odd years ago but it would seem that somehow it lost its way.
The thing is that the folk who have taken up lead roles in the Group are suggesting that people seem to lose their community spirit and no one seemed to care about things at all and it all went down hill.
However, it looks like things have turned around completely and to be able to hold a community day to go with the new garden being officially opened will be a big moment for the village.
Hopefully the enthusiasm the committee folk have will keep bubbling away and the Community Group keeps building its membership and the improvements keep on coming and the rest of the village also benefits.
IMPRESSED,
Lumphinnans Road,
Lochgelly.
