A Cowdenbeath primary school has been forced to close after a leak understood to involve sewage.
Foulford Primary School on Leuchatsbeath Drive, had to shut their doors yesterday.
It is understood that there were issues with 'sewage' which saw pupils sent home, and meant the school was unable to open until the issue was fixed.
Victoria Cobbett, the school's headteacher, said: "We had to close the school and nursery yesterday after discovering an issue with the plumbing in the building.
"We've had it fixed, and the school and nursery have both reopened."
