A WOMAN was punched to the ground during an assault in a Cowdenbeath bar.
The attacker was 43-year-old Jemima Lockhart or Campbell, of Walker Street, Cowdenbeath, who has appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
She admitted that on May 1 last year at Beath Inn Hotel on High Street, she assaulted a woman by punching her on the head, knocking her to the ground and repeatedly punching her on the body, all to her injury.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland said: “This was an unpleasant incident which seems to have come about because people had too much to drink.”
He imposed a community payback order with 120 hours of unpaid work.
