A 29-year-old man, who went to the home of his former partner and repeatedly kicked the door, has been put on a ‘tag’.

Adam Wallace, of Blamey Crescent, Cowdenbeath, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He previously admitted that between September 4 and 5 at Whirlbut Crescent, Dunfermline, he attended at the home of his former partner.

He shouted, swore, tried to gain entry to the property, threatened to damage her car and repeatedly kicked the door of the house.

He left then returned and was repeatedly shouting and swearing.

Then on September 6 he breached bail conditions when repeatedly made phone calls to his former partner.

The court heard Wallace has previous convictions involving the same victim and is already on a community payback order with unpaid work.

Solicitor Stephen Morrison said his client has “anger management and alcohol misuse issues”.

Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed a two-month restriction of liberty order and a £210 fine. Wallace was also put on a year-long non-harassment order.
