A 49-year-old man, who sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in Crosshill, has been ordered to pay her compensation.
Steven Duncan, of Croft Crescent, Markinch, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on October 8 last year at an address in Crosshill he sexually assaulted the girl by kissing her on the lips and inserting his tongue in her mouth.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland ordered Duncan to pay the girl £500 in compensation.
Duncan was also put on a community payback order with a year’s supervision and on the sex offenders register for the same period.
