VENUES across Central Fife will open their doors to help families during the October holidays.
Cafe Inc is returning for children and young people across Fife and will provide free tasty, healthy meals while the schools are closed.
There’s no need to book however children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult, who can also have a meal if they wish, subject to availability.
Cllr Linda Erskine, Strategic Spokesperson for Communities and Leisure Services, said: “There’s a lot of pressure on families over the school holidays, even during the shorter October break, and sadly people are still being affected by the Cost-of-Living crisis.”

"It's a very sad fact that during school holidays many children in Fife go hungry. We don't think this is acceptable and that’s why we continue to run Café Inc.”
The free lunches will be available in a number of schools and community facilities across the Kingdom.
Venues which will open are Benarty Primary, Bowhill Centre, Hill of Beath Community Centre, Kelty Primary School, Lochgelly Town Hall and Lumphinnans Bowling Club.
Details on opening times can be found at www.fife.gov.uk/cafeinc.
