A BUS service had to be halted in Cardenden after being targeted by vandals.
The vehicle, service 32A, was on Carden Castle Avenue at around 8pm on Monday when it was hit by an object.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of an object having been thrown at a bus on Carden Castle Avenue in Cardenden which happened around 8pm on Monday, September 23.

“There were no reports of any injuries and enquiries are at an early stage.”
A post on X by Stagecoach East Scotland on Monday stated: "Due to vandalism to the bus, service 32A due to depart Cardenden Corrie Centre at 2003 will not operate to Kirkcaldy. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
"Service should resume for the return journey from Kirkcaldy at 2040."
