An early-morning High Street saw two Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) appliances in attendance.
Crews attended the incident on Cowdenbeath High Street at 7:50 am on Saturday, September 14 where they successfully put out refuse that was alight.
A SFRS spokesperson confirmed: "We were alerted at 7.50 am on Saturday, September 14 to reports of a fire in the open in Cowdenbeath.
"Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the town's High Street, where firefighters extinguished a fire involving a quantity of refuse.
"Crews left the scene after working to make the area safe."
