Wednesday, September 11, marked Mary’s 100th birthday, which was celebrated in the home.
Karla McQueen, who looks after Mary in the Iona Unit, told the Press: “She had a lovely day, Mary likes to go back and forward to her room all day so that’s what she did with plenty of treats and presents.
“She’s very fit for her age as well.”
Speaking on Mary turning 100, Karla added: “I’d say it’s quite a big achievement.”
