A CROSSGATES man has been fined for contacting a woman on social media when banned from doing so.
Gordon McFarlane, 35, of Hillview Crescent, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing for the domestically-aggravated offence.
He admitted that between 10th and 12th April he breached bail undertaking conditions by repeatedly contacting the woman on social media.
The offensive was domestically aggravated as it involved his partner or former partner.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said his client told police he had been “silly” and “done some stuff on TikTok”.
Sheriff Susan Duff told McFarlane: “As you say, you did something silly and it’s going to cost you money.”
She fined him £200.
