Local groups in the Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly areas are set to receive more than £20,000 in grants.
Trustees from the 4 Winds charity awarded eight organisations in the area grants totalling £20,115.55.
Lochgelly Christmas Lights received £3,000, Cowdenbeath Youth Development Fund got £2,500, Folk Who Paint received £475.15, 46th Fife YMCA Scout Group were given £2,000.
My Cowdenbeath got £3,000, Lochgelly Community Council received £1,195, Lodge Thane of Fife Social Club £3,000 and Cowdenbeath Community Council’s Christmas Lights got £4,945.40.
Chair of the board of trustees, Eleanor Martin, said: “Once again we’ve received some fantastic applications from organisations doing lots of amazing work in the local area.

“We are very fortunate to have the resources to support a variety of projects in this round – from new notice boards to Christmas lighting!”
“Every group is working hard to do their bit to make our area better and we are just so grateful to the wind farm operator, RES< for their investment which allows us to make these grants possible.”
She added: “We’re now approaching £800,000 in funding over the past 11 years, which keeps these good causes going and we hope that continues for many years to come.”
Applications are now being accepted for the next round of funding. Conditions and applications forms can be found on the charity’s website.
The closing date is Monday, November 4 at 5pm.
