Plans have been lodged to turn the upper floor of the Woodside Hotel in Cowdenbeath into a house of multiple occupation (HMO).
Asif Hussain, of King Enterprises, has asked permission from Fife Council for a change of use for the property on Broad Street.
The pub, on the ground floor, is separate and still open.
If approved the first floor of the old hotel will be converted and provide nine bedrooms with a shared kitchen and two bathrooms on the first floor.
Back in April, the applicant withdrew plans to turn the Woodside, and the Queens Hotel in Bowhill, into HMO's.
Last week Mr Hussain re-submitted proposals for the latter and now there is a fresh application for the premises in Cowdenbeath.
