A PLANNING application has been submitted to change the use of a former hotel and pub.
Mr Asif Hussain, of King Enterprises, aims to convert the Queens Hotel, on derran Drive in Bowhill, into a 10-bedroom house of multiple occupation (HMO).
As previously reported in the Times, Mr Hussain had submitted plans to change the use of the Queens Hotel and the Woodside Hotel in Cowdenbeath, but these were withdrawn in April.
That proposal would have seen the Queens with three bedrooms on the ground floor, four on the first floor and another three on the second floor.
The current plans are in the consultation phase which means that the local authority will inform relevant parties of the application and invite views.
