ORGANISERS have hailed Lochgelly Community Gala as a "resounding success".

Sunday's big event began with a parade to the public park, down Main Street, where a whole host of events took place to entertain the big crowd.

On behalf of the gala committee, secretary Kelly Mackay said: “We are delighted to announce that this year’s community gala was a resounding success, and it could not have been achieved without the incredible support of everyone involved.

“From the generous donors to the dedicated volunteers and the enthusiastic attendees, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.

“Your contributions, whether in time, resources, or simply by showing up, played an essential role in making this event memorable. The sense of togetherness felt throughout the day was truly inspiring."

Kelly added: “While we recognise that there were a few minor issues, we view them as opportunities for improvement.

“We are committed to making next year’s gala even better, and your feedback will be invaluable in helping us achieve that.

“Once again, thank you to each and every one of you who contributed to the success of this event, we look forward to your continued support in the future.”
