THE highly-anticipated Rockore is set to return to Lochore Meadows this Saturday.

The popular music festival will have performances from the likes of Bay City Rollers, Kyle Falconer of The View, QFX, Dirty Harry Edinburgh, The Gerry Cinna-Man Experience - Tribute, The Ultimate Rock Show, Massaoke and Instant Credit.

Headlining will be the incredible Suzi Quatro, known for her hit songs 'Devil Gate Drive' and 'Can the Can'.

Eddie Easson, chair of the Benarty Events Group (BEG), told the Times: "Rockore 2024 is just around the corner, our team has again been working tirelessly, organising the event and working with our partners.

"We at Benarty Events Group and our faithful volunteers look forward to welcoming everyone."

Gates will open at 11am on Saturday with the first act set to take the stage at 11:45am.

Parking is expected to be busy and limited, drop off areas will be signposted.

The bar will open from 11am to 9.15 pm, selling beer, cider, wine and a small range of spirits. Drink tokens will be available to buy on the day for cash payments only.

A strict Challenge 25 policy will be in operation.

Eddie said: "Rockore is a safe and fun environment and our stewards will be continually monitoring throughout the day to ensure public safety.

"Anyone found to not be in a fit and safe state will not be permitted entry and if you’re refused entry or ejected from the festival, no refunds will be given."

He said this year's event is sold out and continued: "To keep everyone safe, we have a few rules for the day.

"On arrival everyone will be subject to search by stewarding staff, and there will be police assistance when and if required to identify anyone with illicit substances.

"Anyone found with any illegal substances or weapons will be refused entry and may be subject to arrest. Anyone attempting to bring alcohol into the arena will have this confiscated.

"Ice in sealed packages will be permitted but no food or drink will be allowed, unless previously agreed for anyone with food intolerance or allergies.

"For all the ‘vapists’ out there, you will only be permitted to bring standard vape liquid bottles into the event with you.

"For everyone's safety, there will be no liquid bottles including perfumes, aftershave and aerosols allowed."

On top of that, festival wristbands must be intact to be valid and allow entry, there will be no pets allowed into the festival area, no BBQ's or fires are allowed and tents, gazebos, umbrellas, tables or windbreakers are not permitted.

Festival goers can, however, bring camping chairs in with them.

Eddie said: "Benarty Events Group look forward to seeing you all! Hope you all have some fun, Let’s Rock Rockore."
