A BIN fire in Lochgelly triggered an emergency response on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to an area near Brucefield Terrace at around 2pm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 2pm on Tuesday, August 13 to reports of a fire in the open near Brucefield Terrace, Lochgelly.

“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene where firefighters extinguished the fire.
“The crew left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
