STARS of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship took some time out from preparing to go head-to-head at Knockhill Racing Circuit by pitting their wits against each other at Dunfermline District Radio Car Club.

The prestigious series made its annual trip north of the border to Scotland's national motorsport centre at the weekend and, ahead of the action, Adam Morgan, Nick Halstead, Jake Hill, Scott Sumpton, Mike Doble and Tom Chilton all tried their hand at radio control car racing.

They visited Dunfermline District Radio Car Club, based near Cardenden, last Friday and were joined by club members and spectators.

Hill, who is second in the BTCC standings, was the winner of the one final that took place, with Halstead and Chilton placing second and third respectively.

On Facebook, Dunfermline District Radio Car Club posted: "It was great to see the BTCC drivers come along for some fun, and then the competitive nature came out. All the drivers did really well.

"It was great to see more spectators this year. The publicity from this event is by far the biggest event this year. Hopefully, we've gained more members as well."
