A MAN was repeatedly hit with a baseball bat during an assault.
As a result, 42-year-old John Dunsire, of Hyndloup Terrace, Cardenden, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that, on July 3 at Hyndloup Terrace, he assaulted a man by repeatedly striking him to the body with a baseball bat.
He also admitted being in possession of an offensive weapon.
Sheriff Neil Kinnear told Dunsire: “You’ve got quite a lengthy record of offending."
Dunsire responded from the dock: “I’ve been staying off the heroin and crack cocaine.”
The sheriff called for background reports to be prepared and Dunsire will be sentenced on August 28.
