PLANS are in motion for a wheel repair shop in Crosshill.
A retrospective planning application has been submitted to Fife Council requesting permission to alter and change the use of a shop on Main Street.
A planning statement said the premises used to be a small convenience store until around 2009.
After a period where it was used for storage, it has lain empty for over a decade.
It was taken over by the applicant in 2022 however they were not aware of the need for planning permission.

Since then, the business has stopped trading until the application has been determined.
The planning agent added: "It is worth noting that he operated out of the building for nearly two years, with no local neighbouring complaints in terms of both noise and activity."
