SPECIAL guests at Benarty Events Group's (BEG) Companion Club donated £220.
The money was gifted from Ballingry Lodge 1183, while a donation from Cathy Simpson was also received.
Every seat at the club was taken on Friday, July 19, with a total of 93 people in attendance.
Benore Care Centre donated soup to the group, who followed that up with homemade dumplings and custard.
Eddie Easson, chair of BEG, added: "We had three special guests today (Friday) from Lodge Ballingry who presented The Benarty Events Group with a cheque for £220 to be used for the Companion Club. A massive thank you goes to this organisation.
"Thanks also goes to Cathy Simpson for her donation today.
"Catering for so many people is a massive task for the group and their volunteers.
"We had a contribution of soup from Benore.
"There were also homemade dumplings and custard to follow.
"As you can imagine there was loads of washing up and tidying up to do. As usual, everything was done.
"[Friday's] entertainment was Livvy and Owen and the 'sloshers' took the floor.
"We had guests from America as well as all the local villages enjoying another great day."
