A DOG which attacked police officers has been seized and two people have been arrested following an incident in Ballingry.
Officers were called to a property at New Flockhouse in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, July 14 after reports of a disturbance.
Two people were arrested, with officers attacked by a dog at the scene.
The man, 35, and woman, 39, are set to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today, Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 35-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following a disturbance in New Flockhouse, Lochgelly on Sunday, July 14.
“Officers attended around 4.55am. While officers were effecting the arrests they were attacked by a dog. The dog has now been seized.
“The man and woman are due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, 15 July 2024."
