The annual MND Scotland Family Fun Run is returning to Central Fife.
The event will be taking place at Lochore Meadows Country Park.
The route will take runners through woodland, along the beach, and also past the old pit head before they cross the finish line.
MND (Motor Neurone Disease) is a rare condition that affects a person’s brain and nerves.

Tickets for the 5K route cost £10 per adult, and £5 for children who are aged between five and 17.
Those under the age of five can go for free.
Free places are also provided for those with MND and a companion.
MND Scotland posted on their Facebook page: “We are excited to get the MND community back together in-person at this year’s fun run event.
“Whether you decide to run, walk, jog or wheel the 5K route, it’s guaranteed to be a smashing day out for everyone and all in aid of supporting those affected by MND.”
The run will take place on Saturday, September 7, at 11am.
