A WARNING has been sent out by police after a number of drivers were clocked well over the speed limit in Fife.
Road Policing Scotland issued a reminder on Sunday morning to motorists as Fife's Road Policing Unit caught several travelling at excessive speeds on the A92.
The 70mph limit was surpassed by four drivers, highlighted in a social media post on X, with the fastest recorded just short of 100mph at 98.
Two others were caught at 93, with another at 86.
Commenting on the speeding, officers reminded drivers: "The minimum penalty for speeding is three points and a £100 fine.
"However, you could face disqualification."
