THE end of an era was celebrated by Lochgelly High School in style with a glitzy sixth year prom.
Around 70 pupils and staff attended the glamorous event at the Dean Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy with the night kicking off with a conga competition led by deputy heads Adam Jackson and Alan Reddington.
Prior to the disco starting there were some fun awards presented to S6 learners, and a number of surprise prizes issued to both staff and pupils, which was the result of extensive fundraising by the prom committee.

Wendy Cooper, who led the organisational team, said: “What a fabulous evening was had by all.
"Once again, Lochgelly High School S6 learners did themselves and their school proud by enjoying themselves in a respectful and responsible manner.
"We are very proud of them all.”
