A 21-year-old man started a rumpus with his partner after she asked him to see to their crying child.

As a result, Cole Kempton, now of Dunholm Terrace, Dundee, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on 4th February at Kildownie Crescent, Ballingry, he behaved in an abusive manner towards his partner, shouted, swore and made derogatory comments to her and threw a child’s pram.

Depute fiscal Lauren Pennycook said an argument had broken out between the couple at 9am over who should see to their crying child.

Kempton shouted: “I’m done with you. You’re a brazen c***.”

He then gathered his belongings and left but the argument continued outside, which was observed by neighbours.

Sentencing was deferred for good behaviour for six months until 18th December.
