A community initiative recently celebrated its second anniversary.
The Kelty Walks and Talks Group marked the milestone with a gathering that featured cake and nibbles after their regular walk.
The group started back in May 2022 and is dedicated to promoting health, wellbeing and social connections through walking.
Cllr Alex Campbell, area committee convener, commented: “The Kelty Walks and Talks Group is a fantastic example of how local initiatives can boost health, wellbeing, and community ties.
"Their regular walks and community involvement are truly inspiring. I encourage everyone to join this wonderful group and experience the benefits for themselves."

The group’s walks cover different areas of the village, offering something new each time and accommodating all abilities.
Margaret Pollock, one of the group leaders, said: "I joined the Kelty Walks and Talks Group to help me get out and about in the lead-up to my retirement.
“I enjoyed it so much that I became a group leader. The group is incredibly welcoming, and our walks are very informal. We explore various parts of the village, and we make sure our walks cater to all levels, so everyone can join in."
The group are inviting anyone who is interested in nature or walking to join them.
