Two Central Fife Times readers bagged almost £100 worth of shopping for free, thanks to Snappy Shopper.

Mandy Clarke, who nominated her daughter Carla for the dash, took part on her behalf alongside her granddaughter Katriona in the Snappy Shopper Dash at the Lifestyle Express in Hill of Beath.

She said: "I nominated my daughter, Carla, to win this. Unfortunately, she can't do it so I've done it for her and I've managed to get her £50 worth of stuff. I'll be sharing it with her.

"She's been going through a bit of a rough time lately so I think she deserves it."

Mandy and Katriona each had 60 seconds to run around the shop and grab as much as they could, Snappy Shopper then paid for it all.

Central Fife Times:

Together they took home six bags worth of shopping, with Mandy even bringing along her reusable shopping bags to make sure she got her goodies home safely.

With a mix of sensible necessities in their basket, like washing up powder, cereal, toilet roll and canned goods, they also made sure to grab themselves something nice too.

Katriona grabbed herself a jar of Nutella, ice cream and milkshake, while Mandy went right for the Galaxy chocolate and cans of juice.

And they even managed to get some treats for the dog!

Katriona laughed: "I got to treat myself for once! I never get to."
