THE owner at Woodlea Farm Shop and Bakery has allayed fears that the business will be closing down.
Roland Pap told the Press that the farm shop and bakery would not be shutting down and said a lease was ending.
He said he didn't want to go into why the lease was ending but added that they have a new leaseholder "lined up already" and that the business would continue.
This comes after the current leaseholder of Woodlea Farm Shop and Bakery announced a closing down sale on the Facebook page.
The shop and bakery is located at Woodlea Stables, just south of Crossgates, and sells fresh bread, fruit, vegetables and baked goods.
The post stated: "Unfortunately I have been forced to close the farm shop.
"I have to vacate by Wednesday (May 29), so the shop will be open tomorrow and Wednesday 9am to 3pm to sell all existing stock at bargain prices, all are welcome.
"I would like to thank all my customers for their support over the last few months and wish you all well."
There are multiple businesses at Woodlea Stables, including the Woodlea Bar and Bistro, which are not affected by this lease change.
