A NEW Group aiming to improve Lochgelly Public Park are calling for local residents of all ages to come and join them.
The inaugural meeting of the Public Park Improvement Group – which is a sub group of the community council – will take place later this month.
It is hope the new organisation will bring together people of all ages who share the common goal of improving the green space to ensure it is an accessible and welcoming space for residents of all ages to enjoy.
A spokesperson for the group explained: "This initial meeting will focus on the re-establishing of a committee, election of office bearers and the adoption of the constitution.

"However we also hope that there will be productive discussion around a way forward so if you have any positive thoughts on this area then please feel free to attend. We promise to listen and, if applicable, apply your ideas.
"Please do not be be apprehensive about attending we are here to help and improve. This is your Community and deserves your input."
Taking place on Tuesday, May 28 at Lochgelly Community Centre, anyone wanting to attend is asked to email the community council at cclochgelly@gmail.com or drop their name into the suggestion box outside the Community Centre Library.
