Roadworks began on Monday on a carriageway resurfacing scheme for the B981.
The works, which are taking place from Jamphlars Road to Liza Brae between Lochgelly and Cardenden, will last for approximately 28 days between the hours of 07.30am and 5pm. No work is planned for weekends.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place for most of the works, while there will be a temporary road closure from May 13 to 17 to ensure resurfacing can take place safely over two bridge decks.
During the five-day closure access for emergency services will still be maintained.
