PLANS for a holiday park near Kelty are inching forward with developers lodging detailed information with Fife Council.
Permission for the park – which would include 80 lodges, a cafe and three shops next to the entrance to Lochore Meadows Country Park – was granted earlier this year.
Before work can start the applicant, W J Thomson and Sons, must comply with a number of conditions and submit details on parts of the project such as finishing, landscaping, lighting and noise management.
They have been working though the list and told Fife Council they've met a number of them already.

As previously reported, the Thomsons sought permission to turn 7.4 hectares of their Hilton of Beath Farm – which was the home of the Central and West Fife Agricultural Show – into a major tourism development.
They said the holiday park will create jobs, increase visitor numbers to the Meedies and provide an economic boost to businesses in the village.
Members of Fife Council's central and west planning committee approved the change of use from agricultural land to holiday park, subject to conditions and the conclusion of a legal agreement.
This included the Thomson's paying £5,189 towards a new signalised pedestrian crossing on the Great North Road - creating a safer walking route between Kelty and the Meedies - and installing lights between the development and the road.
