A MAN has been arrested and charged following a smash with a parked car in Crossgates.
Emergency responders attended the crash on Main Street at around 8pm, and the 27-year-old driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital.
He was then arrested and charged.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Around 8pm on Saturday, March 23, we were called to Main Street, Crossgates, following a report of a collision involving a car and a parked vehicle.
“Emergency services attended and the driver, a 27-year-old man, was taken to hospital to be checked over.
“The same man was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
