FIFE COUNCIL have approved a Lochgelly woman's plans to transform her garage into a beauty salon.
Samantha Murphy submitted an application to the local authority seeking permission to change the use of the space from a domestic garage into a nail salon, and to make alterations to the building.
The alterations involve removing the garage door and replacing it with French doors.
The Viewfield Terrace property has three existing parking spaces and this has been deemed to be sufficient for her to operate her nail salon business.
Subject to conditions, Ms Murphy has now been given approval.
