A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after his bike was involved in a crash with a car on a road near Kelty last night (Wednesday).
Police Scotland are appealing for information on the crash, which happened at a junction on the B966 between Kinross and Kelty.
The incident occurred around 8.20pm, at the B966 junction with the B9097 at Gairney Bridge, and involved a grey Audi A6 and a blue Yamaha bike.
Sergeant Steve Livesey said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and anyone with information, including dash-cam footage, that could assist with our enquiries are asked to get in touch.”
Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries.
The two occupants of the Audi were not injured.
The road was closed for crash investigation work and re-opened around 4am this morning (Thursday, 7 March).
