THERE are plans to change the use of farmland and grant permission for four dog exercise fields.
They've been in operation at Meiklesbeath Farm, between Kingseat and Cowdenbeath, for the best part of two years but without the consent of Fife Council.
Documents submitted to the local authority said the applicant "did not realise" planning permission was required.

The site is off the Cuddyhouse Road and is owned by a Mrs Doreen Win, from Lancashire, who has rented out the holding.
The retrospective application also includes plans for boundary enclosures and gates, formation of a new vehicle access, car parking for eight vehicles and road safety improvements.
Consultants said a visibility splay of 180 metres in each direction would be required as a speed survey found that most vehicles travelling on the road were clocked above 50mph.
