A Lochgelly-based performing arts and theatre company is capitalising on its success by opening a second base in Edinburgh.
The expansion of Nardone’s Academy, which will open at its new location in April, comes shortly after some award wins for the company, and the announcement that it will be offering further education courses.
Academy director Liam Nardone said: “Our growth as a leading theatre school has been remarkable, and we are excited to embark on this new venture in Edinburgh.
"We will now be able to offer even more opportunities for young people and adults interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts, whether professionally or for fun.”
“We will be expanding our range of classes, doubling the number of productions each year, and performing at prestigious Edinburgh theatres such as the Festival Theatre, Usher Hall, The King's Theatre, and the Lyceum."
Liam confirmed the Lochgelly base will continue operating as normal.
The academy recently announced that they would be offering courses to both HND and HNC level, which will now be available at both locations.
The new site is at Balgreen Road, Edinburgh, sees Nardone's Academy taking over the former premises of MGA Academy, who recently moved to a new home in Livingston.
Liam added: “With four times the amount of studio space, a spacious reception area, locker and changing rooms, as well as breakout and common areas and our own car park, our facilities in Edinburgh will be truly outstanding.
"And, of course, our Lochgelly base already boasts the best facilities around.”
