MAINTENANCE and infrastructure improvements have begun at Lochore Meadows as they prepare for another busy year.
The project will include improvements to the motorhome stopover facilities, car parking provisions, erosion protection and upgrading and enhancements to the beach areas.
Andy McGrath, park manager, told the Times: "At the moment there is no major update other than what the social media post said.
"We have started a programme of small infrastructure improvements in the park as we prepare for another busy year, we started a job this morning around erosion protection along various points along the shore path and work is ongoing on the development/improvement to the motorhome stopover.
"Work to replace the play park is going well and we look forward to having an inclusive destination play park available for our visitors during the busier season."
He said they hope to keep disturbance to a minimum during the coming weeks but diversions to the path network could be put in place.
Visitors are advised to follow signage while in the park.
