A Benarty group that was well known in the area 30 years ago has been re-established by volunteers.
Benarty Improvement Group (BIG) has now been formally registered as a company, and soon will also be registered with the Scottish Charity Register.

The volunteers will be undertaking a survey in the coming weeks to gather feedback from residents to identify priorities that need to be tackled.
The first donation to the group was from Paul Harley, who took part in Splash for Cash on New Year’s Day. His Just Giving Page and money collected on the day raised £1,459.
BIG is looking to enlist new members who can participate in their monthly meetings and share ideas.
Anyone who is interested is invited to a meeting at BRAG in Crosshill on Thursday, February 29 at 7pm.
