How long does it take to create and rehearse a musical stage show? Well, Lochgelly-based Nardone's Academy are aiming to do it in 24 hours.
A team from the performing arts academy are taking on a thrilling 24-hour Musical Theatre Challenge, which will conclude with their work being performed on stage at Lochgelly Centre on Saturday, February 3, at 7.30pm.
It's a major test of not only the acting talents of the performers and artists, but also their creativity.
During the challenge, participants are tasked with creating and rehearsing a full-length musical within 24 hours. This means that rehearsals will take place overnight, for one night only. The final performance takes place the next evening.
The audience won’t actually find out what the show will be until they get there, which will hopefully make for a pleasant surprise.
This fast-paced and high-energy event is a true testament to the creativity and skill of the performers involved, and will make for an special experience for both those taking part and those in attendance.
Tickets for the performance of the musical at Lochgelly Centre on Saturday, February 3, are available from Nardone’s Academy’s box office by calling 01592 377042.
