POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses following the fatal crash in Cowdenbeath this week.
A 35-year-old woman died following a collision involving a red Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian which happened on High Street at around 10.35pm on Wednesday.
The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Road Policing Sergeant Colin Morrison said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, or anyone who has dashcam footage, to please get in touch."
Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3931 of 20 December.
The road was closed for investigations to be carried out after the fatal incident and reopened at around 5am on Thursday.
