Members of Benarty Heritage Preservation Group were welcomed by Cowdenbeath MSP Annabelle Ewing on their recent visit to the Scottish Parliament.
The group travelled to Holyrood to celebrate St Andrew's Day.
After watchingFirst Minister’s Questions from the Gallery, they met up with Ms Ewing for lunch and a wide-ranging discussion about both their work and that of their MSP.
Ms Ewing said: “Earlier this year I visited with the Group in Benarty and it was a real pleasure to be able to return the favour.
“Preserving and promoting social history is so important and following my last meeting with the Benarty Group I lodged a parliamentary motion highlighting their work.
“One of the group’s regular publications is the annual calendar featuring photos of local historical interest.
"I was very pleased to receive a copy the 2024 Calendar which will be on proudly display in my Parliament office.”
