A shoplifter does not feel ready to be released back into the community, a court has been told.
Natasha Fisher, 41, appeared from prison at Dunfermline Sheriff Court by video-link.
She had admitted that on July 13 at the Co-op, Bank Street, Lochgelly, she stole a quantity of meat and alcohol.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “She’s been in custody for the past four weeks and doesn’t feel she’s ready to be released and to ‘mess up again’ as she puts it.”
Sheriff Francis Gill deferred sentence further until January 24 for reports.
Fisher, from Lochgelly, was remanded in custody a month ago after admitting another shoplifting offence in Cowdenbeath.
