A 32-year-old man has been jailed for torching a car in a revenge attack.
Darren Reape deliberately set fire to a car, causing damage to the vehicle and to the house where it was parked.
Reape, previously of Fife but latterly living in Pumpherston, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on April 15 last year in Lochgelly, he sent a text message to a man in which he threatened him with violence.
He also admitted that on June 1 last year at an address in Crosshill, he wilfully set fire to a car, damaging it and also causing damage to windows and doors of the house where it was parked.
The court was told it was a revenge attack on a man who had allegedly been involved with Reape’s wife.
Sheriff Charles Macnair jailed Reape for 18 months.
