A CAR has burst into flames on the A92 this afternoon (Thursday) with emergency services at the scene.
Fire services raced to the blaze between Crossgates and Cowdenbeath.
The alarm was raised at around 4pm and two fire appliances from Lochgelly were called to the incident.
It is not known at this time whether there have been any injuries.
Traffic Scotland has now advised that the carriageway has fully re-opened after initial closures but drivers can expect delays of around 16 minutes northbound.
More to follow.
